Clean the Countries Leaderboard

Race the FILL clock with a three-pass route. Crowds do not make records.

Leaderboard Guide

Karpath’s Roblox blurb promises you can race for the fastest times on the leaderboard. This page is how that race actually feels: stacked FILL COUNTRIES timers, a Cash counter that is not the score, and a hall that gets worse as player count climbs to 20. If you still mix up pickup and clean, go back to Controls before you care about a board.

What the board is scoring

Until Karpath publishes a formal rulecard, treat the live HUD as the spec:

  • FILL quotas completing before their timers hit zero
  • A full tidy (pieces on continent shelves + specks hold-clicked) as the “clean time”
  • Server-wide, not account-wide, if you are in a public instance — your ghost run is only yours in a quiet server

Cash, pets, and trails are not the board. They are fuel. Spend them using the tools tier list.

If two FILL tasks stack (25 / 12 / 2), the record that matters is all complete. Finishing FILL 25 and ignoring FILL 2 is a failed run, not a cheeky PB.

The record route

Copy the three-pass from How to Clean Faster and put splits on it:

  1. 0:00–0:40 — S-tier giants only (countries tier list). No mop, no Shop.
  2. Until crumbs visible — A and B countries by aisle. One continent at a time.
  3. Last 30% — mop + microstates. G-special only if a cluster is still buried.
  4. Buffer 10 seconds — do not open Pets. Look at the floor once more.

Screenshot the complete toast. If the board UI is a separate kiosk in the lobby, walk to it after, not during.

Server choice

Quiet servers beat stacked ones. A 20-player public instance has more hands and more collisions. For a PB:

  • Party with 2–3 people who already know roles (players hub)
  • Hop until the centre pile is intact
  • Avoid instances where FILL 25 is already half done — you will inherit a messy shelf and a doomed timer

Private servers were not listed as enabled on the universe snapshot we pulled. If that changes, launch notes will say so.

Co-op splits for a time

  • Player A: Americas runner-placer
  • Player B: Asia runner-placer
  • Player C: Africa + Europe + mop

Swap C to dedicated mop if Africa is still a landfill at the halfway mark. Do not add a fourth “floater” who steals USA. Floaters create double-grabs, which the board punishes even if it cannot name them.

Voice is better than chat for 0:20 remaining. Chat is better for “Pakistan, Asia” during pass 2.

What will never be a record

  • Executor auto-place. None exist for this place, and using one is a ban (scripts).
  • Fake codes that “grant 2x speed”. There are no verified codes.
  • Copying a Clean the Library speedrun. Different parts, different shelves, different HUD.
  • Mobile with a frozen camera. Fix binds first (controls finder).

Practice plan

Day 1: solo FILL 12 (Getting Started). Day 2: solo FILL 25 with carry upgrade. Day 3: two-player aisle split. Day 4: three-player with mop, screenshot times, compare.

If your time stalls, you are colour-sorting or mopping too early. Watch the first-look clip on How to Play and notice how long the pile stays a pile when nobody routes.

Karpath can add seasonal boards, map-specific times, or prestige resets. When they do, this page gets a table. Until then, your FILL complete timestamp is the PB.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Where is the leaderboard in-game?

Karpath advertises fastest times. Check lobby kiosks and the HUD after FILL complete. We will screenshot the exact board when a patch pins it.

Does Cash affect my time?

Only if you spend it on carry and range. Cash itself is not the score.

Can I set a time in a full 20-player server?

You can finish, but collisions make PBs rare. Use two or three teammates on a quiet instance.

Do codes give a leaderboard boost?

No verified codes exist. Ignore videos that promise 2x speed strings.
